Shayna Harvey

MA, AMFT #143549 · she/her · supervised by Alison Picard LMFT #132492

LGBTQ+ Affirming   Adults   Teens   Couples   Jungian

Shayna works with adults, teens, and couples from a depth-oriented perspective, drawing on both Jungian and psychoanalytic frameworks. She is particularly interested in the patterns that keep us from feeling fully ourselves — and in the slow, careful work of bringing those into awareness. She offers an affirming and inclusive space and brings genuine warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to her work. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or a longer-standing sense of disconnection, Shayna approaches each person's experience with care and without judgment.

She brings warmth, directness, and real curiosity to the here-and-now of the therapeutic relationship. As a child of Iranian immigrants, she understands the weight of carrying multiple worlds at once, and has a deep commitment to working with first-generation Americans and those navigating bicultural identity. Her clinical presence is embodied and creative — informed by over a decade working with neurodivergent individuals and families, and by her practice as a yoga teacher, mindfulness practitioner, certified death doula, and singer-songwriter.

Associate therapists (AMFTs) are fully trained clinicians who have completed a master's degree in clinical psychology and are working toward full licensure. They practice under the direct supervision of Alison Picard, LMFT, which means your care is supported by both your therapist and an experienced licensed clinician. Sessions with associates are offered at lower fees than sessions with Alison directly.
