You might be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, or questioning your future. In therapy, I will help you develop a more flexible, self-determined, and compassionate understanding of yourself. Together, we'll explore your patterns and break down rigid, inherited scripts about how your life should look. My approach is deep. I focus on the relationship between the client and therapist as the first stage of change. I offer a non-judgmental space where we'll build new understandings by connecting your past to your present and your dreams to your reality. Through exploring your unconscious mind, we’ll build self-understanding and self-acceptance.

With curiosity, warmth, direct feedback, and a sense of humor, we will scaffold new thoughts and feelings to address the root of your challenges. You aren’t a problem to be solved and you deserve to be understood. I look forward to getting to know your story and seeing what we can create together.

Isabella approaches therapy from the belief that you aren't a problem to be solved — you deserve to be understood. With curiosity, warmth, direct feedback, and a sense of humor, she works with you to explore the patterns and inherited scripts that shape your life, and to build something more flexible and self-determined in their place.

My Approach

My work is grounded in psychoanalytic theory, a rigorous approach that welcomes complexity, nuance, and conflict. Rather than pathologizing what you're experiencing, we stay curious about what your psyche is trying to communicate. Through close attention, dream analysis, and reflection, we will explore overwhelming feelings and deepen your understanding of yourself. As the grip of your past softens, you will find yourself with newfound agency, reclaiming choices that are empowering and supportive rather than restrictive and distressing.

Isabella's work is relational and depth-oriented, with a focus on the therapeutic relationship itself as the first and most important site of change. She pays close attention to how the past lives in the present, the ways early relational experiences shape current patterns, and to the unconscious dynamics that often drive the struggles people bring to therapy. She has particular experience with clients coming to therapy for the first time, and brings sensitivity to what it feels like to begin — the uncertainty, the hope, and the courage it takes to show up.

Isabella sees adults and adolescents (12+) navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and questions about the future. Isabella is especially well-suited to first-time therapy clients and to those who want a therapist who is warm and direct in equal measure.
